Why We Need a Bus
January 19, 2008

Here is the bus we used to own.

Here it is again. The other side.

Mr. Bus Driver. My bus drivers were never that good looking.

Jason and Lina get the front seat.

Look how roomy it is!

Even Sara has a place to lay down and get comfy.

Don’t we look so happy with our bus? Now, why did we get rid of it again?
We need another one. We have just about outgrown our van. We are in the market for a bus like this or a little school bus. Let me know if you know of any good deals out there.

Buses rock. I hope to have the kids to fill one up one day. :) Or I’ll just borrow five or six of yours sometime. ;)

Hi Jeff! I know that you don’t know me but I enjoy reading you and your wife’s blog. I just graduated from law school and am just starting out - I have a ton of debt, but am looking to start to make some financial decisions for my future- but I have no idea where to start- I saw your post below on investments you made- do you have any suggestions on debt/investments/financial advice?
Thanks!

If I remember right you had to get rid of your wonderful bus because of the silly ordinances/rules of where you used to live? Grrrr… Hope you have a place now with TRUE freedoms!!! We love our Sprinter and I know they make them with an isle down the middle like the bus for hotel shuttles and such. Might be worth doing a search in your area.

Do you think I am made of money?

That was a neat little bus, plenty of room for all the kids and other people too! But, how was the gas mileage on that bus compared to the van you have now?

The gas mileage was the same or maybe even a little better than the one we have now. 11 in town - 14 on the highway. This ones’s gas, the other one was diesel.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I found a bus or two on ebay. This one ends soon. I don’t know where you live, but ebay has helped us out a few times, and we even bought our CAR on ebay. :)
Good luck,
Leah
