Finley Park Dam

Do you remember this picture of the Finley Park Dam? That was Tuesday, January 8th, the morning after we got 3.5 inches of rain overnight. That is a lot of water!
Monday, January 21st… 13 days later. Almost back down to normal.
That water is cold. Very cold. Do you wanna take a dip?
Oh yeah… let me know what you think about me having 1980’s Best Perm Contest.

Contest? Did you say contest?? I may need that contest to redeem myself. I’m fairly confident I have *the* worst 80s perm ‘do. But do I want to win a contest that requires my absolute humiliation??

Those MO water are bad. I was there during the “Great Flood of ‘92″ in STL. What a mess.

I wasn’t quite old enough to get a perm in the 80’s! I have a picture with pretty big curling iron and hairspray hair from the 90’s, though. I’d post, if you ran a contest!

Oh, no, I would totally be going against his wishes entering his perm picture. He would never enter it himself. I would have to do it on the sly. Bad wife. It really was quite awful. Guess it would be a way for him to start reading your blog as he would need to come here and defend himself. :)

Maybe the rules will be that you can enter anyone in your family. The winner and the person that submitted the picture (if they are not the same person) would get a gift card.
